The Frog Prince

Once upon a time, there was a prince, who was very narcissist. He pretty sure that he was the most handsome in his kingdom. Especially, many girl fell for him. Therefore, he become very arrogant. Moreover, the king – the prince’s father, wanted to immediately  gave his throne to his only son.

Prince : (while looking at the mirror) See .. I’m the most handsome in this kingdom! I’m the prince in this kingdom and many girls fell for me!

Queen : Of course, my son … (while patting prince’s head) And then .. you will became the king of this kingdom, so you will the most  handsome man in this kingdom.

Prince : Yes mom .. (smiling at the queen)

Queen : But for me .. you’re still my little cry baby son after all (laughing)

Prince : Oh mom .. (ashamed)

But, at the same time, there was a magician who harbored anger at the king, because he had been expelled from the kingdom by the king. The magician very hate those kingdom,his hatred got bigger, when he saw the prince of that kingdom’s arrogance. He felt annoyed about the prince’s statement even if it’s the truth (XD).

Magician : (looking at the mirror) Huh? You ? The most handsome man in this land, you say?  how arrogant you are, O prince! Just like your father when he kicked me from his kingdom!

The magician turned back, tried to reached something at the top of the cupboard at the corner. He took some mysterious jug and he grinned.

Magician : (laugh) Hahaha! With all of these … (grab all of the jug) You will know .. how miserable I am all this time, O Prince! (waved his caved and immediately disappears)

The prince and his parents – the king and the queen, had dinner in their magnificent palace. Suddenly, the king felt something wrong and then the magician appeared before the prince.

King : (stand up and pointed at the magician) YOU !!?

Queen : (stare at the king) My dear .. ?

Magician : (turned to the king) What’s up, my lord? Shocked ? I’m apologize for disturbing your dinner, my lord … but I’m back now, my lord .. (bow)

King : HOW DID YOU …. !!?

Magician : How did I entered your palace? Am I right? (grin)

King : YOU !! (shouted)

Queen : My dear .. calm down (hold the king’s arm)

Prince : Who .. who is he, dad? (pointed at the magician)

Magician : (turned to the prince) Long time no see, young master .. who am I, you say? It seems you has forgotten me, young master .. ah .. its not only you I think but also everyone in this kingdom

King : HOW DARE YOU COME BACK TO MY KINGDOM, HEY YOU DAMN WITCH! WHAT DO YOU WANT !? (hit the table)

Queen :  My lord, please calm down your self (still holding the king’w arm =w=v) And you, master magician .. what do you want from us now? (glared at the magician)

Magician : you ask what do I want, your highness? (smirk)

Prince : Are you deaf, hey magician? My mom said what do you want from us!

Magician : Just like they said .. you’re very arrogant, young master .. really like your father when he was young ..  (smile)

Prince : What dou you mean, hey magician ?

Magician : You really don’t know anything, O young master … how a silly prince you are .. I feel sorry for you .. your father .. I mean the king didn’t tell you about how nasty he is when he kicked me from this kingdom, young master (glared at the king)

King : HOW DARE YOU SAY THAT, YOU DAMN WITCH!

Prince : Huh? What did you just say, hey magician? My father? Nasty? It can’t be the truth! My father is the most humble king in this land! Nobody ever starved in our kingdom!

Magician : You are really your father’s son, young master … Your arrogance really same with you father (approached the prince) because of that .. I will make you aware from your pride, young master (scatter some mysterious remedy)

Suddenly, the prince’s body subside and slowly turned into an ugly frog.

Prince : kwook … whaaat !? kwook ..

Queen : MY SON !!? (approached the frog – the prince)

King : WHA .. WHAT HAPPENED NOW !? WHAT DIDI YOU DO TO MY SON, YOU DAMN WITCH !?

Magician : (LOL) Hahaha … this is your repaid, my lord … you threw me away from this kingdom and I turned your son into an ugly frog .. it’s fair, isn’t it?

Queen : You are really mean, master magician … my son didn’t do anything to you (bust into tears)

Magician : settle down, your highness … I’m not too mean that you expected, my majesty .. that curse .. will be break if there is a girl who honorable to kiss your son in his form now.

Queen : It’s impossible, you know !? how can there be a girl who willing to kiss an ugly frog like that !? (pointed at the ‘frog prince’)

Prince : kwoook … mom … you’re so cruel .. saying something like that to me .. kwoook

Queen : ah .. I’m sorry dear .. My tongue slipped .. hehe .. (grin)

Magician : it’s that all I want to do here, Your Highness .. it’s my revenge, My Lord .. See you again, Young Master .. (suddenly he disappears)

King : WHE .. WHERE DID HE GO !? (shocked)

Queen : never mind, dear .. let he go .. the most important thing now is .. how we broke the curse and return our son back to normal .. (try to calmed down the king)

King : O my queen .. didn’t you hear what that magician’s said? It’s impossible to find a girl who honorable to kiss an ugly frog, my dear (stare at the queen)

Queen : It’s …. (hesitate)

King : And I … As the king of this land! Of this kingdom! Don’t want have any bad image in the eyes of my people! So … rapidly expel that frog from this palace! (command the king to the queen)

Queen : Bu .. But .. dear? This frog is our son! Our next king! How can you do this !?

King : An ugly frog can’t rule a kingdom … Even if he is the prince of this kingdom …  But if he could find the girl who was willing to kiss him … I will marry them and inaugurate him as the king of this kingdom (glared at the queen)

The queen was forced to take the ‘frog prince’ out from the palace. But the queen, didn’t throw the frog away, she let the frog went to a lake.

Queen : I’m sorry, my dear … this is all I can do .. I can’t against your father’s order (while throw the frog on a big rock)

Frog : kwook … it’s okay mom .. it’s enough for me that you didn’t throw me away .. kwook

Queen : Oh my dear … I wish god always blessing you … I hope one day there will be a girl who honorable to kiss you .. (and then the queen left the frog away)

Eventually, the prince was resigned to his curse and kept waiting a girl who was willing to kiss him. After many years, his wait was finally come to the end. There was a poor girl who just bought some apples from her hardwork. She want to gave that apples to her grandmother who was very ill.

Girl : (while bring a basket of apples) Finally .. I can buy these apples for my grandmom .. I wonder she must be happy (smiling)

The girl went merrily through the where the frog was abandoned. But, suddenly she was slipped till her apples fell down to the lake.

Girl : Whaaa … my apples !! (panicked and try to reach her apples)

She panicked and tried to caught her apples. But, her effort useless, the apples had fallen to the bottom of the lake. The young girl cried and wonder how her grandmom’s response about this. The frog, who heard the girl’s cry suddenly appeared in front off the girl.

Frog : What happened, little girl?

Girl : Huh? (look around)

Frog : it’s me .. I’m the one who talked to you, little girl .. kwook

Girl : I .. it’s you? Mr. frog? (wondering)

Frog : Yes, my hinny … and .. why are you crying?

Girl : I .. I just slipped and I lose all of my apples, mr. frog .. and those was the apple that i want to give to my grandma, mr. frog

Frog : Is that all?

Girl : yes, mr. frog .. but I don’t have any money to buy those apples again

Frog : I understand .. how if .. I will help yout to get back your apples again .. but you must do anything I ask to you?

The girl thought that the silly frog was talking nonsense, she can’t wonder how a frog can brought her apples back,  but she didn’t want to waste time arguing with him, and promised to do what he asked.

Girl : Yes, sir .. I will do anything what you ask to me

Frog : I hold your promise, little girl

After saying that, the frog dived immediately under the lake. The girl still wondering how can be she talked with a frog and ask for help to him. Soon, the frog appeard from the bottom of the lake. He brought a basket of apples with him. The girl didn’t believe what she just saw.

Girl : ho .. how did you bring these all .. mr. frog? (shocked)

Frog : never mind about it! You see? I can bring your apples back to you .. I’ve fulfilled my promise ..  now, it’s

your turn, little girl (give her apples and smile at her)

Girl : (look hesitate) umm .. what do you want from me, mr. frog?

Frog : it’s so simple, little girl … kiss me (smile)

Girl : Whaa .. WHAAT !? (shocked)

Frog : Kiss me … you hear that, don’t you?

Girl : ye .. yes, I am .. but .. I .. I can’t, mr. frog ..

Frog : Why? Haven’t you promise to me, have you? I’ve fulfilled my promise, little girl .. it’s really not fair if you won’t to do it

Girl : o .. okay, mr. frog … because you’ve fulfilled your promise than I will do what you asked to me (kiss the frog)

After the girl kiss the frog, suddenly, there stood by her side the most handsome prince in the world, who had long been transformed by a magician, and who could never have recovered his natural form until a girl willing to kiss him.

Girl : Who .. who are you? and .. where is the frog who helped me ? (confused)

Prince : I’m the ugly frog that you just kiss, hey little girl (smiling at the girl)

Girl : What ? What do you mean, sir?

Prince : let me tell you .. I’m the prince of this kingdom who was cursed into an ugly frog by the magician .. my curse will be break if a girl willing to kiss me … and you’re the one who broke my curse, my hinny

Girl : Am i? I don’t feel do anything, sir

Prince : C’mon little girl .. feel free to me .. don’t be such a formal like that .. because soon we will be married (smile)

Girl : WHAT !? MA … MARRIED ? WHY?

Prince : Hahaha … it was my father’s promise

Girl : what? The king’s promise

Prince : yes .. he promise if I found a girl willing to kiss me he will married us and inaugurate me as the king of this kingdom .. and that mean you will be the queen of this kingdom too, my hinny

The girl and the prince were shortly afterwards married, and lived for many years in the enjoyment of every happiness.
